Lynn Elam is a papermaker and book artist completing an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Columbia College, Chicago. Drawn to paper and bookmaking from her first career as librarian, Lynn creates dimensionality to handmade papers and books through sculpting and the use of encaustic media. Papers no longer live in a two dimensional space, but in an unfettered world of re-imagined possibilities.
