Paper Trails, National Juried Exhibition
The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation is proud to present Paper Trails, our sixth annual and second national juried exhibition.
The artwork selected by our jurors this year pushes boundaries of paper as a medium and reinvents the traditions of bookbinding and printmaking. Technically as well as conceptually intriguing, it is not devoid of humor. This exhibition is a great representation of visually striking ways contemporary artists interact with paper as a medium.
The judges had an incredibly difficult time selecting the works in the show due to such high quality of submissions. This year, we received a record breaking 369 submissions from 203 talented artists living in 21 states. The exhibition features 69 works by 52 artists in sculpture, printmaking, photography and painting.
We’d like to extend our gratitude to all of the artists who participated — this wouldn’t be possible without your submissions and boundless creativity!
We’d also like a give a big special thanks to this year’s jurors for their expertise and keen eye.
